As a young Yorkshire lad growing up through the 80s and 90s, I have always been a fan of art in the form of comic books, illustrations & cartoons (anything with mutants in it). When I was outdoors it was bikes, boards, blades & the social culture around them. Originally planning to become some form of artist, I was put off by some that said it was 'better to get a trade' so I ended up following a different path.
In my adult life I have always been a grafter; from Plasterer to Builder then Designer, all of which have given me useful, lifelong skills. Finally, I have circled back with clear sight of what I have to offer in my artwork with my passion for outdoor sports and my local roots of Sheffield.
What can be created is only limited by your imagination so keep thinking it up and the possibilities are endless...
